4730 Bowling Blvd Encroachment Permit for Athena Drilling vertical soil borings

Athena Drilling, working through HDR, will perform vertical soil borings and rock coring for a geotechnical investigation at 4730 Bowling Blvd in St. Matthews, between Sherburn Lane and Shelbyville Road. The property is owned by Shelbyville Road Plaza LLC, and the encroachment permit lists work from March 16 to April 3, 2026 with lane closures and some excavation on grass-and-dirt pavement. They plan to grout the borings and cover them with the previously excavated soil when the work is finished.
