735 S 2ND ST Encroachment Permit Issued for LGE sidewalk work

Louisville Gas and Electric (applicant Kaitlyn Downs) will be doing utility work at 735 South 2nd Street, between York Street and West Jacob Street, that requires closing the easternmost northbound curb lane and the easternmost sidewalk. They'll make one 3' x 5' sidewalk cut (to be restored under the LMPW utility restoration policy—any damaged sidewalk panels must be fully replaced), will bag meters as needed, and expect the work to happen from mid-March to early April 2026.
