6602 Sky Blue Ave encroachment permit issued for LGE pole work

Louisville Gas and Electric, through applicant Kaitlyn Downs, will close the southbound curb lane on Sky Blue Ave between Galaxie Drive and Twinkle Drive to replace two utility poles, transfer lines, and remove a pole at 6602 Sky Blue Ave; the work is scheduled for March 17–April 14, 2026. Notifications will go out through the National Joint Utilities Notification System and any pavement cuts will be restored under the LMPW utility restoration policy; the property owner is Carlos Fernandez Diaz and the permit shows $260 in outstanding fees.
