709 Washburn Ave applied for encroachment permit for CSX railroad work
CSX, coordinated through Safety Services & Supply applicant Andrea D. Janka, will perform emergency railroad-crossing work at 709 Washburn Ave on the stretch between Columbia Ave and Westport Road, scheduled for May 11–16, 2026. Crews will cut pavement, tear out blacktop, replace rail and repave within the railroad right-of-way — the work requires a road closure (detours will be provided) and will follow CSX restoration guidelines; the property owner is Alexander James William III.
