Tom Wright with the Kentucky State Fair Board is overseeing expansion-joint replacement work in the Commonwealth Garage and will open a temporary garage entrance at 313 S 4th St. The project for owner Pios Grande Louisville HR LLC runs Feb. 28–Apr. 30, 2026, and won’t require lane, sidewalk, or road closures or any pavement cuts. Expect motorists to use the temporary entrance and for one parking meter to be temporarily removed while it’s in use.
