753 Loreto Ave encroachment permit issued for water main installation

Louisville Water Company (applicant Chance Shely) is working for owner 502 West Holdings LLC to install a new water main along Loretto Ave between Garland Ave and West Kentucky St, affecting property at 753 Loretto Ave under a continuation encroachment permit. Expect road and sidewalk closures March 1–14, 2026 with multiple 4' cuts (including a 4' x 245' dirt cut and several pavement and sidewalk cuts); the road will be plated and reopened at the end of shifts, Seven Seas Construction is the contractor, Kyle Burke is the inspector, and full restoration will follow LMPW utility policy.
