2321 VILLAGE DR issued encroachment permit for gas work and curb lane closure

Louisville Gas & Electric Company will be repairing a gas leak at 2321 Village Dr for owner Klausing Benjamin Thomas, with work scheduled from March 5, 2026 to April 2, 2026. Crews will perform one 3' x 5' dirt cut and an excavation, and they’ve applied to close the eastbound curb lane on Village Drive between Casselberry Road and Eleanor Avenue. Cuts will be restored under the LMPW utility restoration policy, so it’s a focused repair that may slow eastbound traffic but won’t close the whole road.
