8001 Zelma Fields Ave encroachment permit: westbound curb lane closure

Louisville Gas & Electric Company (applicant Derek Wilkins) is planning work on Zelma Fields Avenue and has applied for an encroachment permit to close the westbound curb lane at 8001 Zelma Fields Ave to replace one utility pole between Beulah Church Rd and Shobe Ln. The job — for owner 8001 Zelma Fields Trust — is scheduled May 1–29, 2026, with no pavement cuts; the area around the poles will be restored under the LMPW Restoration Policy and line transfer/pole removal notifications will be handled through the National Joint Utilities Notification System (NJUNS).
