801 W Chestnut St encroachment permit for fiber optic installation

Vero Networks is rolling out a short underground fiber installation referenced to 801 W Chestnut St, installing 188 feet of new cable through three 1.25" conduits and placing three 36" x 24" x 36" handholes. The work on S 8th St between W Chestnut St and W Muhammad Ali Blvd will involve four 1' x 1' asphalt cuts and will require lane and sidewalk closures with a sidewalk detour. Work is scheduled roughly 02/25/2026–03/25/2026, all curb-to-curb pavement and sidewalk restoration will follow Metro utility policy, and the property owner is Brown Memorial CME Church Inc.
