316 E CHESTNUT ST encroachment permit for Chestnut streetscape improvements

Louisville Medical and Education District has applied for an encroachment curb-cut permit to upgrade the streetscape at 316 E Chestnut St. Chestnut Streetscape Improvement Segment 1 will construct new sidewalks, curbs, paving and striping in the West Chestnut right-of-way per plans approved by B. Stuber. Work is scheduled from February 9, 2026 to July 9, 2026, and the property owner is Jefferson County Kentucky Capital PR, so expect crews and possible temporary sidewalk closures while improvements are underway.
