753 Loretto Ave Encroachment Permit Issued

Louisville Water Company is continuing a water-main installation along Loretto Ave between Garland Ave and W Kentucky St under an encroachment permit at 753 Loretto Ave. The work on the 502 West Holdings LLC property includes several 4-foot cuts — from a 4' x 245' dirt trench to a 4' x 125' sidewalk cut — and will require temporary road and sidewalk closures with roads plated and reopened at the end of each shift. The project runs Feb. 1–28, 2026, with Seven Seas Construction as contractor and Chance Shely (LWC) as the project contact; restoration will follow LMPW utility policy.
