6604 SYLVANIA RD encroachment permit for solar-powered LPR camera

Flock Safety is installing one solar-powered license-plate-reading camera and Flock pole for LMPD #241 at 6604 Sylvania Rd (between Memory Lane and Capella Lane); the site sits in the north-side right-of-way of a county parcel owned by RPJ Properties. Work is scheduled Feb. 9–Mar. 20, 2026, will include a small 2x2-foot street cut on dirt with a tech van parked on the adjacent grassy area, and the permit notes a site-specific traffic-control and restoration plan — no lane or sidewalk closures are expected.
