10006 Omar Khayyam Blvd encroachment permit to widen driveway

Jermaine Murphy has applied for an encroachment curb cut to widen the driveway at 10006 Omar Khayyam Blvd. The property, owned by Gloria Thompson Murphy, would keep any work in the public right-of-way to a maximum 20-foot width with a hard, durable surface, while outside the right-of-way the driveway could expand to half the lot (up to 32 feet). Work is slated to run from Jan. 26 to July 26, 2026, and the permit currently shows a $65 outstanding fee — looks like a focused curb-cut project rather than a full redo.
