1800 River Rd applied for encroachment permit to install solar-powered camera
Flock Safety is installing one solar-powered license-plate‑reading (LPR) camera and Flock pole for LMPD at 1800 River Rd, to be placed on the south side of River Road in the right‑of‑way. The work on Metro-owned property (Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government) is scheduled Feb. 20–Mar. 27, 2026, includes a small 2x2 street cut in the dirt shoulder, techs will park a van on the adjacent grassy area, and a site-specific traffic control and restoration plan is on file.
