4892 Brownsboro Rd encroachment permit issued for LWC project 17096

Louisville Water Company is gearing up to relocate a water main that affects Rudy Lane between Brownsboro Road and Merrifield and will impact the property at 4892 Brownsboro Rd. The owner, Walser Development Corp., and contractor AECOM Technical Services are listed on the permit; crews will close the road during work shifts but plate and reopen it each night, make one pavement cut about 4' x 1,100', and restore the area per Metro Public Works utility policy. Work is scheduled Feb. 1–Apr. 11, 2026, and Project Manager Eric Walls is the contact — residents and city agencies were notified at least seven days before construction.
