2200 Mellwood Ave applied for encroachment permit for I-71 overpass deck repair

TRC, LLC is gearing up to repair the deck of the I-71 overpass, working under the bridge on Edith Road between Mellwood Ave and River Rd at 2200 Mellwood Ave. The KYTC-funded project (owner listed as Hasty Joe C. Jr. & Mary R.) will repair supporting structures, remove and replace the bridge decking, requires a road closure but no sidewalk closures, and is scheduled from January 26 through July 31, 2026; site contact is Richard Smith and the project manager is Andrew Schad.
