315 W Market St: MSD emergency sidewalk repair; two-lane closure

MAC Construction & Excavating, working for the Louisville Metropolitan Sewer District, is tackling an emergency sidewalk repair at 315 W Market Street after a sewer lateral broke — the property owner, Hollyhock Rentals LLC, has been notified. Filed by applicant Ella Thompson (project manager Cory Placek), the work is set to start around Jan. 19, 2026, will close two lanes beside the sidewalk between 3rd and 4th Streets, and will affect five parking meters while crews and equipment are on site.
