1721 Duncan St encroachment permit issued for LGE electrical work

Louisville Gas and Electric is set to do electrical work along Duncan St for owner Urbest Homes LLC, with activity centered at 1721 Duncan St (between N 18th St and Bank St) from Jan. 27 to Feb. 24, 2026 — they’ll be closing the east- and westbound curb lanes (not at the same time) and the northernmost sidewalk. The permit includes a 3' x 35' asphalt cut at 1729 Duncan St for underground work, six pole replacements, one pole installation and one pole removal, and notes that any sidewalk panels cut or removed must be fully replaced under city policy.
