1144 S Preston St encroachment permit issued for water main installation

Louisville Water Company is planning a water-main installation that will close part of S Preston Street near 1144 S Preston Street, with Garney as the contractor and TAK Investment LLC listed as the property owner. The permit calls for two pavement cuts — 170' x 8' along the north side of E Oak Street and 30' x 8' across the E Oak Street intersection — and crews will restore the roadway per Louisville Metro Public Works utility policy, keeping the site secured daily.
