1200 E OAK ST encroachment permit issued for LGE electric work

Louisville Gas and Electric (applicant Kaitlyn Downs) will be doing utility work on E Oak St between Mary St and Barret Ave at 1200 E Oak St, a property owned by Forgotten Holler Brewing LLC, with work scheduled from 01/21/2026 to 03/31/2026. The project includes alternating closures of the east- and west-bound curb lanes and the northern and southern sidewalks (not at the same time) while crews perform 28 pole replacements; any damaged sidewalk panels must be fully replaced and line transfers/pole removals will be coordinated through NJUNS under the city's utility restoration policy, so expect intermittent lane and sidewalk disruptions.
