1001 CHARLES ST encroachment permit issued for LGE work
Louisville Gas & Electric Company is planning utility work on Charles Street between Dandridge Avenue and Texas Avenue at 1001 Charles St, with owner Gunnoe James D listed. The project will replace 22 poles, close the westbound curb lane and the northernmost sidewalk from Jan. 20–Feb. 17, 2026; line transfers and pole removals will be coordinated through the National Joint Utilities Notification System (NJUNS) and disturbed areas will be restored under LMPW policy.
