1233 TEXAS AVE encroachment permit to close curb lane replace 7 poles

Louisville Gas & Electric Company (applicant Derek Wilkins) will be working on Texas Ave between Goss Ave and Charles St, replacing seven utility poles at 1233 Texas Ave and temporarily closing the southbound curb lane and the westernmost sidewalk — so expect a bit of hustle on the block. Work is scheduled Jan. 20–Feb. 17, 2026; line transfers and pole removals will be coordinated through the National Joint Utilities Notification System and the areas around replaced poles will be restored under LMPW's restoration policy; the property owner is Alexander K. Mattsson.
