957 Ellison Ave Encroachment Permit Issued for Lane and Sidewalk Closures

Louisville Gas and Electric is scheduling utility work on Ellison Avenue (between Dandridge and Julia) at 957 Ellison Ave; the owner is 957 Ellison Avenue Land Trust and the project runs Jan. 20–Feb. 17, 2026. LGE will replace 34 poles and will use alternating curb-lane and sidewalk closures (east/west curb lanes and the northern/southern sidewalks won’t be closed concurrently), with cuts restored under the LMPW utility restoration policy, line transfers/pole removals coordinated through NJUNS, and any damaged sidewalk panels required to be replaced in full.
