1121 S CLAY ST encroachment permit for gas service; northbound curb lane closure

Louisville Gas and Electric is planning to install a new gas service at 1121 S Clay St for property owner Lampton Baptist Church. The crew has applied to close the northbound curb lane between E St Catherine and E Oak and will make a single 3' x 400' asphalt cut to run the line, with repairs to follow the LMPW restoration policy. This permit continues an earlier application, is scheduled to start January 14, 2026 (through February 27, 2026), and work has not yet begun.
