1000 E Kentucky St issued for LGE gas main service encroachment permit

Louisville Gas and Electric (applicant Kaitlyn Downs) plans to close the northbound curb lane on Swan Street near 1000 E Kentucky St between E Kentucky St and E St Catherine St to install gas main/service lines. The work calls for one 5' x 40' asphalt cut and one 8' x 260' asphalt cut with excavation, scheduled from 01/14/2026 to 02/27/2026, and restorations will follow the LMPW utility restoration policy (LGE plates to be reassessed). The property is owned by Kentucky Swan Trust, and this is a continuation of a previous permit — work has not yet started.
