6441 OLD HEADY RD issued for LGE encroachment permit and lane closure

Louisville Gas and Electric (applicant Kaitlyn Downs) plans work on Old Heady Road between Thurman Road and Thunder Sky Way, closing the westbound curb lane at 6441 Old Heady Rd to install three poles, transfer lines, and remove an existing pole. The project—listed as a continuation of a previous permit—is scheduled for Jan. 13–Feb. 10, 2026; notifications will go through the National Joint Utilities Notification System and any pavement cuts will be restored under LMPW’s utility restoration policy, with property owner Horsell Grahame P noted and work not yet started.
