1704 S POPE LICK RD encroachment permit to close curb lane and pole work

Louisville Gas and Electric (applicant Kaitlyn Downs) plans electrical work at 1704 S Pope Lick Rd for owner Ball Homes LLC, closing the southbound curb lane between Tucker Station Rd and Poplar Ln to remove one utility pole and install a replacement. The work is scheduled Jan. 26–Feb. 23, 2026, will be restored under the LMPW restoration policy, and line transfers/pole removal notifications will be handled through the National Joint Utilities Notification System — this is a continuation of an earlier permit and work hasn’t started yet.
