1028 MORGAN ST encroachment permit submitted for lane and sidewalk closures

Louisville Gas and Electric, through applicant Kaitlyn Downs, plans work at 1028 Morgan St (owned by the William Family Irrevocable Trust) between Hickory Street and Hoertz Avenue from Jan. 7 to Apr. 30, 2026 to perform three pole replacements. The project will close the westbound curb lane and the northernmost sidewalk while crews do line transfers and pole removals coordinated via NJUNS; any sidewalk panels damaged or removed must be fully replaced and cuts will be restored under the LMPW utility restoration policy.
