4800 Shepherdsville Rd encroachment permit issued for curb lane closure

Hutchins Telecom will close about 600 feet of curb lane on Shepherdsville Rd at 4800 Shepherdsville Rd (the parcel is owned by Pinehurst Properties LLP) to overlash roughly 180 feet of fiber to an existing strand at the Newburg Rd intersection. Work is scheduled Jan. 5–10, 2026 with short-term flagging, no restoration planned, and crews say they'll notify residents between 5200 and 4708 Shepherdsville Rd in person a week before construction — a dated door hanger will be left where they can't make contact.
