444 South 5th Street encroachment permit issued for LGE electrical work
Louisville Gas and Electric (applicant Kaitlyn Downs) is set to perform emergency underground electrical work at 444 South 5th Street. City of Louisville Public Properties owns the site, and the permit allows crews to close the northbound curb lane and the western-most sidewalk while they access a vault with no street cuts; the work is scheduled from 12/29/2025 to 01/26/2026.
