815 S 45th St Continuation permit for water main on Garland Ave

Louisville Water Company is back with a continuation permit to install a new water main along Garland Avenue between S 45th St and S 44th St, affecting the block around 815 S 45th St and listing Michael and Wanda Holt as the property owners. Work by Seven Seas Construction runs Jan. 4–31, 2026, will close the road (it’ll be plated and reopened at the end of each work shift) and close sidewalks, and includes eight cuts — several long 4' dirt trenches plus multiple 4' pavement crossings and a 4'×125' sidewalk cut — with restoration to follow per LMPW utility policy.
