753 LORETTO AVE encroachment permit issued for water main work

Louisville Water Company, via engineer Chance Shely, has a continuation permit to install a water main affecting properties along Loretto Ave between Garland Ave and W Kentucky St — work touches 753 Loretto Ave (owner: 502 West Holdings LLC) and is scheduled for Jan. 4–31, 2026. Seven Seas Construction will be doing multiple 4-foot dirt, pavement, and sidewalk cuts (long stretches along Garland and Loretto), the road may be closed during work but will be plated and reopened at the end of shifts, and sidewalk panels will be replaced as needed per LMPW policy; inspector Kyle Burke is assigned and notifications were sent to JCPS, Metro 311, TARC, and other agencies.
