727 W Main St Road/Sidewalk Closure by Alpha Energy Solutions (01/22-01/23/2026)
Alpha Energy Solutions is planning temporary sidewalk and street closures at 727 W Main St and the W Washington St/River Rd corridor so Padgett Crane can remove and replace a cooling tower at the Kentucky Science Center. The work will be staged Jan. 22–23, 2026 with the main crane activity on Jan. 23; closures will shut W Washington at N 8th and River Rd at N 6th (N 7th will remain open as a one-way northbound merge), and Peyton’s Traffic Control will install barricades and signage to reroute pedestrians and vehicles.
