706 E MUHAMMAD ALI BLVD Encroachment Permit Issued for lane/sidewalk closures

Louisville Gas & Electric Company is set to do utility work at 706 E Muhammad Ali Blvd (owned by Saint Johns Gardens Inc) between S Clay Street and S Shelby Street, with work planned from 12/30/2025 through 01/27/2026. Crews will close the southernmost westbound curb lane and the southernmost sidewalk to replace one pole (line transfer and pole removal notifications via NJUNS), and the area will be restored under the LMPW restoration policy; Derek Wilkins is the project contact.
