1618 Lincoln Ave encroachment permit issued for LGE pole work

Louisville Gas and Electric, via applicant Kaitlyn Downs, has an encroachment permit for utility work on Lincoln Ave between Lee Ave and Poplar Level Rd that touches 1618 Lincoln Ave (owned by Purple Cabbage LLC). They're planning a westbound curb lane closure scheduled for Jan. 1–31, 2026 to replace a pole, transfer lines and remove another pole; notifications go through the National Joint Utilities Notification System and any cuts will be restored under the LMPW utility restoration policy.
