525 E Caldwell St encroachment permit issued for curb closure and water service

Louisville Water (applicant Brad Walter McBride) will be installing a new water service at 525 E Caldwell St — a property owned by Louisville Metro Parks — with work scheduled Jan. 2–30, 2026. The job includes one 5x5 street cut and one 5x5 sidewalk cut and will close the eastbound curb and driving lane on the southside during shifts; crews will plate the road and reopen it at the end of each workday, restore per LMPW utility policy, and have requested six No Parking signs.
