501 N 22nd Street encroachment permit issued for water replacement project

Louisville Water Company is planning a water replacement along N 22nd Street at 501 N 22nd Street on land owned by Shafika Properties LLC. The encroachment permit covers one pavement cut about 4' x 725' on the east side and a lane closure (road will be plated and reopened at the end of each work shift); Allterrain is the contractor and project managers are Chance Shely and Kyle Burke. Work is scheduled from 12/14/2025 to 3/21/2026, residents were notified on 12/9/2025, and full restoration will follow Louisville Metro Public Works utility policy.
