1200 S Preston St encroachment permit for E Oak St project

Louisville Water Company has applied for an encroachment permit to dig and replace a single pavement cut (8' x 200') along the north side of E Oak Street between S Floyd Street and Preston Street, affecting 1200 S Preston St. The property owner is Polk William F Jr & Martha Q, and the work includes overnight block closures to through traffic, daytime work from 7 AM–7 PM, trench backfill and concrete capping beginning November 10, 2025 (Season 2), with final mill-and-overlay paving planned for June 2026. Garney Construction is the contractor and Michael Meyer is listed as the project manager for the job.
