1015 Vine Street encroachment permit issued for road closure

Louisville Water Company has an encroachment permit to close part of Vine St between East Kentucky and East Oak for a lead replacement project at 1015 Vine St running roughly 11/30/2025–12/27/2025. The job—owned by Louisville Metro Housing Authority and contracted to Basham Construction—involves one 4' x 5' pavement cut on the west side, excavation, daytime road closures with the roadway plated and reopened at the end of each shift, and restoration per LMPW utility policy. Neighbors, JCPS, TARC, Metro Government, METROSafe, and 311 were notified and utility markings will be removed once work is done.
