1241 MORGAN AVE encroachment permit issued for dirt cut and curb lane closure

Louisville Gas and Electric is planning an encroachment on Morgan Ave between Fayette Ave and Franklin Ave, closing the westbound curb lane to fix a gas leak at 1241 Morgan Ave. Crews will make one 3' x 5' dirt cut to repair the leak and will restore the pavement under LMPW’s utility restoration policy; the work is scheduled for Dec. 2–30, 2025. The property is owned by HPA III Acquisitions 1 LLC, and the project is overseen by project engineer Mia Carman with applicant contact Kaitlyn Downs from Louisville Gas and Electric.
