6701 S WATTERSON TRL Encroachment permit issued for LGE pole work

Louisville Gas and Electric is planning an encroachment on South Watterson Trail for work at 6701 South Watterson Trail, with applicant Kaitlyn Downs coordinating the effort. Crews will close the northbound curb lane between Waterfern Way and Davhal Drive to replace three poles, perform two overhead electrical line transfers, and remove an old pole, with notifications handled through the National Joint Utilities Notification System and restorations done per the LMPW utility restoration policy. Project engineer Ambreen Quereshi lists the work window as Dec. 2–Dec. 30, 2025, so expect temporary lane impacts during that period.
