9900 Preston Crossing Blvd encroachment permit for solar-powered LPR camera

Flock Safety is installing one solar-powered license-plate–reading camera and Flock pole for the LMPD near 9900 Preston Crossing Blvd, on Cooper Chapel Road between Preston Highway and Preston Crossing Blvd. The camera will sit in the county right-of-way on the south side of Preston Highway (the parcel is owned by IRA Innovations LLC); crews expect small 2‑foot by 2‑foot street cuts, will park a work van on the adjacent grassy area, and the job is scheduled from December 1, 2025 to January 5, 2026 with no lane or sidewalk closures.
