730 S 42ND ST issued encroachment permit for gas repair; curb lane closure
Louisville Gas and Electric, represented by applicant Kaitlyn Downs, will close the southbound curb lane on S 42nd St between Doerhoefer Ave and W Broadway to perform a 3' x 5' dirt cut at 730 S 42nd St to repair a gas leak. The property, owned by Willaims Quiana, has work scheduled Nov. 24–Dec. 22, 2025, and the cut will be restored under the LMPW utility restoration policy — a small, targeted fix rather than a full road shutdown.
