6401 River Rd applied for encroachment permit for River Rd closure
Louisville Water Company is installing a new solids residuals main along River Road and that work will affect 6401 River Rd — the owner listed is Louisville Jefferson County Metro Government. MAC Construction & Excavating is the contractor and plans a 24/7 “rolling” hard closure (about 400 feet at a time) between Wolf Pen Branch Road and Transylvania Avenue, with the River Road/Transylvania intersection closed for about two weeks; work runs from 11/10/2025 to 2/28/2026. Crews will temporarily restore trenches as they go and complete full-width final restoration before reopening, and any trees in the way will be reviewed by the city arborist.
