400 FAIRDALE RD Encroachment Permit Continuation Issued

Louisville Water Company is continuing an encroachment permit to install a water main along Fairdale Road, impacting the area around 400 Fairdale Rd; the parcel owner is Robin Gornto Realty LLC. Work between the W. Manslick/Mount Holly roundabout and the National Turnpike will use alternating eastbound and westbound lane closures (not at the same time), close the north-side sidewalk, and require several pavement and dirt cuts — including runs like 4' x 345', 4' x 1,635', and a 4' x 255' sidewalk cut — with the road plated and reopened at the end of shifts. The project runs 11/02/2025–01/03/2026, Basham Construction is the contractor, Fairdale High School staff have been kept informed, and residents will receive at least seven days' notice before work begins.
