462 S 4TH ST encroachment permit for sidewalk bike rack installation

Julie Meredith, on behalf of Louisville Downtown Partnership, has an encroachment permit to install a replacement bike rack on the existing concrete footers at 462 S 4th St, which is owned by Meidinger Building Owner LLC. The project includes a restoration plan to clean debris and replace any concrete pavers joint to joint, and officials say the sidewalk and street will remain open during work. The short job is scheduled for 10/24/2025–10/31/2025, with signs and cones in place to warn pedestrians while crews are nearby and the permit has been issued.
