121 S Clay St encroachment permit to close curb lanes; sidewalk cuts

Louisville Gas & Electric Company is planning electrical work on South Clay Street at 121 South Clay Street for owner Stoddard Spirits Landco LLC. The crew will close the southbound and northbound curb lanes between East Market Street and Billy Goat Strut Alley, cut one 3' x 5' sidewalk section and one 3' x 45' asphalt section to install a new pole, with sidewalk closures and excavation scheduled from October 27 to November 21, 2025. Cuts will be restored under the Louisville Metro Public Works restoration policy, and line transfer and pole removal notifications will be handled through the National Joint Utilities Notification System (NJUNS).
