9115 Fern Creek Rd encroachment permit issued for LMPD solar camera

Flock Safety is installing one solar-powered license-plate-reading camera and a Flock pole for LMPD at 9115 Fern Creek Rd, placed on the north side of Ferndale Rd in the right-of-way between Fern Creek Rd and Birchline Blvd. The work — on a county parcel owned by Jefferson County School District Fin — includes a small 2-foot pavement cut, crew parking on the adjacent shoulder, and is scheduled from 10/30/2025 to 12/04/2025 with a site-specific traffic control and restoration plan on file, so it should be a fairly low-impact, quick install rather than a big construction project.
