3412 Pflanz Ave: Encroachment permit continuation issued; road closure.

Louisville Water Company has a continuation encroachment permit to replace a lead service line at 3412 Pflanz Ave; the property owner is the Board of Education of Jefferson County. The work will close Pflanz Ave between N 34th and N 35th streets from 10/19/2025 to 11/01/2025 for a single 4' x 5' pavement cut on the south side — the road will be plated and reopened at the end of each shift and restored per Louisville Metro Public Works utility policy. Basham Construction is the contractor, Joseph Sloan is the project manager, and residents plus agencies like JCPS, TARC, METROSafe and 311 were notified.
