Flock Safety proposed installing one solar-powered LPR (license-plate reader) camera and Flock pole for LMPD at 9605 Old Bardstown Rd, set on the north side of Thixton Lane between Bardstown Rd and Old Bardstown Rd, with techs planning to park a van on the adjacent shoulder. The property is owned by Stanley J. Sims, but the city's encroachment permit application was withdrawn after reviewers noted Flock needs a Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) permit first.
